Policy renewal reminder

Reminds policyholders of the renewal date and premium, and records whether they will renew.

How it opens

The first line, in each language the template ships with. The agent answers in whatever language the caller uses.

Hindi
नमस्ते, मैं ‹your company› की एआई सहायक बोल रही हूँ। क्या मेरी बात ‹customer name› जी से हो रही है?
English
Hello, this is an AI assistant from ‹your company›. Am I speaking with ‹customer name›?
Hinglish
Namaste, main ‹your company› ki AI assistant hoon. Kya ‹customer name› ji se baat ho rahi hai?

The steps

Insurance is regulated: the facts and the mandatory line are said in a fixed order.

  1. 1

Greet and confirm who is speaking

Disclose the AI assistant and the insurer; confirm the person is ‹customer name›.

  2. 2

    State the renewal

Say the policy's last four digits, the renewal date and the premium in rupees, then ask if they plan to renew.

  3. 3

    How to renew

Read the renewal channels and the mandatory line. Offer an advisor callback.

  4. 4

    Why not renewing

Ask once, without persuading, why they will not renew; note it.

  5. 5

    Callback

    Take a convenient time.

  6. 6

    Hand over

    Transfer to the service team.

  7. 7

    Wrong person

Apologise; share nothing about the policy.

  8. 8

    Do not call

    Confirm the request and close.

  9. 9

    Close

    Thank them.

What each call returns

Rules it keeps

Enforced by the platform's compliance toolkit, not left to the script.

AI disclosure
“This call is from an AI assistant of the insurer and may be recorded.”
Calling window
10:00 to 19:00 in the recipient's timezone. Calls outside it move to the next start.
Transcripts
Strict masking: card, Aadhaar, PAN and account numbers, and any long run of digits, are hidden in full before text is stored or sent on.
Do not call
If the person asks not to be called again, confirm it once, record do_not_call = yes and end the call politely. Tell the customer to add such numbers to the account's do-not-call list.
