EMI / loan soft reminder

A gentle reminder before or just after an EMI date, with a promise-to-pay date and a callback option.

How it opens

The first line, in each language the template ships with. The agent answers in whatever language the caller uses.

Hindi
नमस्ते, मैं ‹your company› की एआई सहायक बोल रही हूँ। क्या मैं ‹customer name› जी से बात कर रही हूँ?
English
Hello, this is an AI assistant from ‹your company›. May I speak with ‹customer name›?
Hinglish
Namaste, main ‹your company› ki AI assistant hoon. Kya main ‹customer name› ji se baat kar rahi hoon?

The steps

Lending reminders are regulated and must follow a fixed order with no improvised pressure.

  1. 1

Greet and confirm who is speaking

Disclose the AI assistant and the lender, ask whether this is ‹customer name›.

  2. 2

    State the instalment

Say the EMI amount in rupees and its date once, then ask whether the account will have the funds or by when they can pay.

  3. 3

    Confirm the commitment

    Repeat the date, thank them.

  4. 4

    Difficulty paying

Acknowledge without judgement, note the reason in their words and offer a person who can explain the options. Promise nothing about waivers or restructuring.

  5. 5

    Already paid

Thank them and say it will reflect shortly.

  6. 6

    Callback

Take a convenient time and confirm it.

  7. 7

    Hand over

    Transfer to the lender's team.

  8. 8

    Wrong person

Apologise; share nothing about the loan.

  9. 9

    Do not call

    Confirm the request and close.

What each call returns

Filled in after the call, next to the transcript, summary and cost. Delivered by webhook and readable through the API.

Your systems

No API yet? Take ‹emi amount› and ‹emi date› from the contact list and record commitments through extraction only.

  • GET get_instalment

The EMI amount, its date and whether it is already paid.

  • POST save_promise

Record the date the customer committed to.

  • TRANSFER transfer_to_human

Transfer the call to the handover number. Leave it out when no number was given.

Knowledge base: None by default. A hardship-options page may be added if the lender gives a public URL.

Rules it keeps

Enforced by the platform's compliance toolkit, not left to the script.

AI disclosure
“This call is from an AI assistant of the lender and may be recorded.”
Calling window
10:00 to 19:00 in the recipient's timezone. Calls outside it move to the next start.
Transcripts
Strict masking: card, Aadhaar, PAN and account numbers, and any long run of digits, are hidden in full before text is stored or sent on.
Do not call
If the person asks not to be called again, confirm it once, record do_not_call = yes and end the call politely. Tell the customer to add such numbers to the account's do-not-call list.
