Abandoned cart recovery
A light, single call to shoppers who left items in the cart: answers questions and offers help to finish.
How it opens
The first line, in each language the template ships with. The agent answers in whatever language the caller uses.
नमस्ते ‹customer name› जी, मैं ‹your company› की एआई सहायक हूँ। आपके कार्ट में कुछ सामान रह गया था, क्या एक मिनट बात हो सकती है?Hello ‹customer name›, this is an AI assistant from ‹your company›. You left a few items in your cart; do you have a minute?Namaste ‹customer name› ji, main ‹your company› ki AI assistant hoon. Aapke cart mein kuch items reh gaye the, ek minute baat ho sakti hai?What the prompt covers
An open conversation driven by the shopper's questions, with a knowledge base; no fixed script is needed beyond the opening and the opt-out.
- 1
Greet and ask permission
Disclose the AI assistant, mention the items left in the cart, ask if they have a minute.
- 2
What stopped them
Ask what held them back (price, delivery time, payment problem, just browsing).
- 3
Answer questions
Answer from the knowledge base only; say so when it does not know.
- 4
Help to finish
Offer to send the cart link again, mention the offer once if there is one.
- 5
Opt out
Apologise for the interruption, confirm no more calls.
- 6
Close
Thank them.

Your systems
No API yet? Leave out the tool; the agent says the link was already sent by message.
POST resend_cart_link
Send the cart link to the shopper again.
Knowledge base: Strongly recommended: the store's public FAQ, delivery and returns pages; without them the agent can only take notes.
Rules it keeps
Enforced by the platform's compliance toolkit, not left to the script.
- AI disclosure
- “This call is from an AI assistant of the store.”
- Calling window
- 11:00 to 19:00 in the recipient's timezone. Calls outside it move to the next start.
- Transcripts
- Masking: card, Aadhaar, PAN and account numbers are hidden before text is stored or sent on, keeping only the last four digits.
- Do not call
- If the person asks not to be called again, confirm it once, record do_not_call = yes and end the call politely. Tell the customer to add such numbers to the account's do-not-call list.
